01The science

We don’t ask you to take purity on faith.

We have what we sell tested by an external laboratory, and we show you what comes back. For AB704 Cultured A2 Gir Cow Ghee, one sample returned 65 entries across two reports. Every one of them is on this page, including the ones that prove nothing.

02AB704 Cultured A2 Gir Cow Ghee

One sample. Sixty-five checks.

Every row below is one line of the report. Open it and you get what the test was looking for, in words, and how AB704 did against it. Nothing has been rounded, renamed or left out.

  1. 6

Nothing turned up that should not be there

Six tests go looking by name for what ghee gets cut with: petroleum oil, beef and mutton fat, argemone, vegetable sterols. Every one came back clear.

  2. 13

Every reading with a set band came in inside it

Thirteen of the measurements have a range the standard expects a real cow ghee to fall in. AB704 landed inside all thirteen, none of them scraping an edge.

  3. 46

And these prove nothing, so we say so

46 of the 65 entries have no limit set against them at all. They are published anyway. Leaving them out would make the rest look better than it is.

All 65 entries, 55 from the main report and 10 from the supplementary one. Open any row to see what the test looks for.

Laboratory testing information is presented from the supplied analytical report. Results apply to the sample tested as received. Where the report sets no limit for a parameter, this page says so rather than inventing one. And where a result falls inside a printed band we say it sits inside the band, not that it “passed”, because the report issues no pass or fail against individual parameters.

03Reading the report

What these numbers can and cannot tell you.

AB704 ghee in a brass bowl, the sample form in which it was tested

A fatty-acid profile is a fingerprint

Milk fat from a cow spreads itself across a characteristic set of chain lengths: short ones like butyric at C4, long ones like stearic at C18. Adulterated fats distort that spread. Publishing the whole profile is how you show it has not been distorted.

“Absent” is a finding, not a formality

Mineral oil, argemone, beta sitosterol, hydrocyanic and polybromide tests exist because ghee has historically been cut with cheaper fats. 6 of these were run. Each came back absent or negative against a specification that said it should be.

“Not Specified” means exactly that

For many parameters the regulation prints no limit. We report the measured value and say so plainly. We do not invent a threshold in order to show a tick beside it.

“Not Detected” is not zero

Where the report says an analyte was not detected, that is what appears here. It has not been converted to 0.000, because those are different statements.

One sample, one batch

Laboratory testing information is presented from the supplied analytical report. Results apply to the sample tested as received. The tested sample carried a manufacture date of 05 May 2026. It does not certify every jar ever made, and we will not present it as if it does.
