What we collect, and what we don’t.

This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use this website, contact us or place an order, how we use it, and the choices you have. There is no account to create here and no advertising network following you around.

    Who we are

    This website is operated by Snehprabha Foods Co., a sole proprietorship firm with its registered office at Corporate Membership No. 677, WeWork Zenia, 4th Floor, Hiranandani Circle, Hiranandani Business Park, Thane, Maharashtra 400607 (“Snehprabha Foods Co.”, “we”, “us” or “our”). For the purposes of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, we are the Data Fiduciary for the personal data described in this policy.

    What this policy covers

    This policy applies to personal data we collect through this website, and through WhatsApp, phone calls, email and our social media pages when you contact us or place an order. By using the website or sharing your information with us, you agree to the collection and use of your information as described here.

    Information you give us

    • Enquiries: your name, email address, phone number if you choose to share it, the reason for your enquiry and your message.
    • Orders: your name, phone number, delivery address and pin code, the products and quantities you order, and any delivery instructions.
    • Payments: confirmation that a payment was made and its transaction reference. Payments are processed by your bank or payment service provider, and we never see or store your card number, UPI PIN, OTP or banking password.
    • Feedback and complaints: anything you tell us about a product, including batch details and photographs.

    Information collected automatically

    When you visit the website, our hosting provider records standard technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you request and the time of each request. This is used to deliver the website, keep it secure and fix problems.

    We may also use Google Analytics, with IP anonymisation, to understand in aggregate how the website is used, such as which pages are visited and which buttons are pressed. We do not use this information to identify you.

    How we use your information

    • To reply to your enquiries and provide customer support.
    • To confirm, prepare, deliver and follow up on your orders, including payment reconciliation and invoicing.
    • To look into product quality concerns with the manufacturer, and to trace a batch where needed.
    • To send you updates about your order. We send marketing messages only if you ask for them, and you can stop them at any time.
    • To keep the website secure, prevent fraud and misuse, and improve how the website works.
    • To meet our obligations under applicable law, including tax, accounting and food safety law, and to respond to lawful requests from authorities.

    Who we share it with

    We do not sell or rent your personal data. We share it only as needed to run our business:

    • Courier and logistics partners, who receive your name, phone number and delivery address so they can deliver your order.
    • Service providers that help us operate, including our website hosting provider, Google (which stores contact form submissions and provides analytics) and WhatsApp, each under its own terms and privacy policy.
    • The manufacturer and brand owner of a product, limited to what is needed to look into a quality concern you have raised.
    • Government, regulatory or law enforcement authorities, where the law requires it or where it is needed to protect our rights, our customers or the public.
    • A buyer, investor or successor, if our business or its assets are reorganised, merged or sold, on the condition that your data stays protected in the same way.

    Cookies

    We do not use advertising or remarketing cookies. Google Analytics may set cookies to count visits and understand, in aggregate, how the website is used. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address in order to deliver them. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and the website works normally without them.

    WhatsApp and other platforms

    When you order or message us on WhatsApp, or contact us on Instagram, the conversation also passes through that platform and is subject to its own terms and privacy policy. Please do not send sensitive information such as card details, banking passwords or OTPs in any message. We will never ask you for them.

    How long we keep your information

    We keep personal data only for as long as we need it for the purposes in this policy. Enquiries are kept for up to 24 months after our last exchange with you. Order and payment records are kept for as long as tax and accounting laws require. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.

    How we protect it

    We follow reasonable security practices and procedures, as required under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made under it. The website is served over HTTPS, enquiries are stored in access-controlled accounts, and only the people who need your information to do their work can see it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so while we take care to protect your information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

    Your rights

    Subject to applicable law, you can:

    • ask for a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we use it;
    • ask us to correct, complete or update it;
    • ask us to erase it, where we no longer need it for a lawful purpose;
    • withdraw your consent;
    • nominate another person to exercise these rights for you in the event of death or incapacity; and
    • raise a grievance with us and, if it is not resolved, with the Data Protection Board of India.

    To exercise any of these rights, email support@snehprabhafoods.com. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request.

    Children

    This website and our products are intended to be bought by adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has shared personal data with us, contact us and we will delete it.

    Transfers outside India

    Some of our service providers may store or process data on servers outside India. Where this happens, we take reasonable steps to keep your data protected, and we transfer it only as permitted under Indian law.

    Changes to this policy

    We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it last changed. Changes take effect when they are posted, and your continued use of the website or our services after that means you accept the updated policy. Our Terms & Conditions also apply to your use of the website.
